Peace River K9 Search and Rescue (PRSAR) is a Southwest Florida based non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation made possible by public donations and the dedication of many volunteer professionals in order to provide a highly trained search and rescue team for the rapid, effective and safe return of lost or missing persons. PRSAR never charges for their services, however they are ready to respond 24 hours a day—everyday, with Honor, Integrity, a High level of Performance and Endurance “So that Others may Live”.
NOTICE TO THE MEDIA and SOCIAL MEDIA POLICY— Media personnel are always welcome to observe and inquire about the training PRSAR does, however we do NOT post Team search results on the internet or anywhere else. This is a private matter between the families and the overseeing law enforcement agency. News and media personnel should first make official request for comments to the overseeing Law Enforcement Agencies Public Information Officer (PIO). FOR PRIVATE SEARCHES that PRSAR is involved, please direct your questions to our Public Information Officer at email@example.com.
NOTICE TO VISITING SAR and LAW ENFORCEMENT PERSONNEL - PRSAR regularly receives visitors from other parts of the country and world. All are welcome to come and train with us. Please call or email to let us know when you are coming and we can assist with lodging arrangements and advise as to our training schedule!
REQUESTING INFORMATION - PRSAR gets many inquiries into our training procedures and SOP's with the specialized teams. PRSAR is happy to assist with your inquiry but we will only respond to written requests that come on agency letterhead from Bona Fide Agencies. The request will be reviewed by the Board of Directors and a response will be issued at that time.
BACKGROUND CHECKS - All PRSAR volunteers must pass a Florida Level 1 background check in order to be deployed into the field. Cadaver K9 and FAST team members apply and pass a Level 2 State and Federal background check.
For Service Requests please call 941-548-7560 OR email firstname.lastname@example.org and we will return your call quickly.
